Secret Santa

Santa Claus, the legendary patron saint of children; an imaginary being who is thought to bring presents to children at Christmas. I had never ever met him before or had even received gifts on Christmas, coz my parents say I am a Hindu.

Last week in my office they had arranges a game called as Secret Santa. In this game everyone is a Santa for someone else.

In the starting I had no interest in playing the game. But on day one for my surprise, I had received a letter from my Santa, that moment I had the joy of my life. Then I decided to play it, coz I was a secret Santa for another person. I sent him secret mails and then gave him a gift on Friday. He was really happy. I never expected any gifts from my Santa.

On Friday I returned back from lunch. I was amazed to see gifts at my chair. Everyone got normal gifts, but mine was a very special one. There was a gift and a hug packet of chips. Many got chocolates but me chips. I showed everyone the gift with full of joy, coz I love to be different and my Santa knew exactly what to do to make me look different. I have become a bit known in my floor now, all thanks to my Santa.

At the end of the day the secret was revealed. My secret Santa was Shanmuga. I was really happy and had already guessed that my secret Santa knew me very well. 'Thanks a lot Shanm, coz you made my day'.

Well my secret Santa did not get his gift, instead he lost his mug... ;)

    U noe wat, we tried hard to get the chips packed in gift wrapper...and man, u have to see the crowd's reaction for that.......

    they denied to pack it that way :(....had it been packed, then it would look like a bouquet !!!!!

At this age of 27, I am currently living my childhood again. I ain't no time traveler, so this is no story about Space-time continuum or any stuff like that. Developer Vs Tester - Part II

This is a reply to one of the blogs that I follow. Check the post in this link . Here I would be sharing my experience on this topic. For all you testers out there, no hard feelings.. :)  It so much true that almost everywhere developers consider testers as the troublemakers. Guess why? coz they really are. They think they know shit about our code. First of all no one like to hear faults in their own baby. And they think that the quality of our code is because of them. Well it might be true, but they should realize that they did no ass whooping work in actually writing it. The so called testers consider themselves as the Gods of all the application, they even think that the application is better known to them that the customer himself. All the technical difficulties that we actually went through while coding is not at all known to them, still calling themselves GOD! I have no words. My first 500 KM..

Two months ago, I actually didn't know how to ride a bike. The last time I rode a cycle was back in 2009 and then some 6 months ago I tried bike riding in my cousin's bike; but never rode fully. I had booked my bike some 6 months back and since the waiting period was 8 months, I had planned everything at the end of the waiting period. Then all of a sudden I got a call from them saying the bike is ready to pick up. It wasn't just a sweet surprise, but I was worried since I had no idea about how to ride. And one friday, it finally came. My cousin brought the bike to my home, as I still didn't know how to ride it. Started as a rookie, now I consider myself as an intermediate rider. I have had my highs and lows in the first 500 KM itself. Practiced on the bike for the first week and built my confidence. Once that was done, it was time to take it on a long drive.
