Developer Vs Tester - Part II

Image
This is a reply to one of the blogs that I follow. Check the post in this link . Here I would be sharing my experience on this topic. For all you testers out there, no hard feelings.. :)  It so much true that almost everywhere developers consider testers as the troublemakers. Guess why? coz they really are. They think they know shit about our code. First of all no one like to hear faults in their own baby. And they think that the quality of our code is because of them. Well it might be true, but they should realize that they did no ass whooping work in actually writing it. The so called testers consider themselves as the Gods of all the application, they even think that the application is better known to them that the customer himself. All the technical difficulties that we actually went through while coding is not at all known to them, still calling themselves GOD! I have no words. Next complain from the self-proclaimed Gods are that the developers didn't do any kinda unit

Snake Bite: A reel

Friday had been to a hospital and heard a story about a snake-bite case. I have this fantasy of imagining myself in all the stories that been through my brain that day. And this is what happened when snake actually bit me in one of my fantasies.   Rushing to the hospital is so much fun, wish I could see the next morning sun. This thing came out of blue, bit me and spit its glue. Snake is such a bad animal; when stepped on, bites every single mammal. A single bite makes one so dizzy, that even when you are high you fell izzy. I was just on a life's restart, after this I guess its becomes short. The doc said 'son be brave', I begged him not to send me to my grave. The pain of a snake bite, one can feel only if its real and not in a reel.

SAP TechEd 2010 - Track Management

At first when I heard it I was amazed as I was assigned a role called Track Manager. Then my friend explained me my responsibilities. Later I felt like a ticket collector in a cinema hall. Yes I did feel like this till I actually got to the place. But once it started I did not feel like a collector anymore I felt like a owner of that room. It was really a great experience where I had put my organizational skills to test. As our MD said this is a job which really puts one's leadership skills at test. For each of the room (or tracks as they call), there were 4 people assigned. The track manager, Usher, Audio line boy (I called him Mic-Boy) and a security. Each one of them who were assigned to my room was a specimen. The Usher was kinda leader of their group and had lot of responsibility, also he loved playing cricket in mobile and was totally into it. The Mic-boy was an expert in dealing with the audio and video, so he was always wanted by other rooms also. Last and the best, the

I haven't seen or felt or even smelled him, So I don't believe in the non-existent. This is a reality check. Corruption, when ever you hear this word you always think about government offices. But the truth is that it is not only in government offices but its in the whole of the theist world and this starts at every single home. Wonder why? The offerings that they give to the GOD. Its funny when people say 'I will give you gold and other stuff once everything is in my way, now do me this favor'. It doesn't make sense when you actually scold the society for being corrupted, when the root cause is actually in the every theist home. Last time when I was traveling with my family, we met with an accident and none of us got hurt. All of them who was in the vehicle started thanking GOD for saving us. They all started reasoning that the visit to the temple saved us. They totally forgot the driver who skillfully saved us. It was his experience and skill which saved us an
