Infy - My way in...

It was in 6th sem of BE, the round of campus interviews started. The first company was TCS, then Wipro and the third was Infy. It was that Sunday May 14th 2006, when it all started. TCS first round, the written test, was on Sunday. I did not clear the first round itself as the English question asked was of a standard which was way higher than mine, I had to pick one of the four and all my answers were guesses. Monday morning It was WIPRO. I made an improvement from the previous one and I cleared the first round. Then was the technical interview, I did not clear this round as I was unaware of many question asked. I was devastated that time. My moral was thrown deep down into hell as many of my friends cleared. I was so absent minded the whole day, still remember the small accident on the road that I had. The next day was TCS' next set of interviews so I stayed at home studying C. The D-day was Wednesday [ 17-Mar-2006 ], I went to the college at 9AM. Many of my class mates were st

My Tattoo; Zu...

Image
A tattoo is a marking made by inserting dark, indelible ink into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment for decorative or other reasons. Where as a tattoo for me is a revolution , which many ppl are scared to start and once started you get so deep into it, that there is no way out of it. My First tattoo, I got it on 08-05-10. I did some bench work on the tattoo parlors in Bangalore and finally got to know that Dark Arts tattoo studio is one of the best here. So finally I decided to get it done at that place. Then was the deign and cost of it. I had chosen a dragon which is flying upwards. I went to the studio. The cost was a bit high, but I agreed coz this is something which one shouldn't compromise on. The start of it was really awesome, it was like getting 120 injections per second. Then the excitement took its base by defeating the pain. Finally after 2.5 hrs of hard work from the artist, I had got a kick-ass tattoo. Coming to the reason for getting a tattoo. Fir

My Team Award in Infy

The only award that I got in Infy was My team award. That was my first team and I was really happy to receive the award. That is a team which I will never forget even if I am six feet under. Though the project was tough I really enjoyed that team. It was the best team anyone can even imagine to get, and for me that was the first team in my professional life. I always thought I was really lucky to get into a team that had strong bond. The day I received this award, I was on top of this world. We even had a party at Barbeque Nation. That day I was so proud of it, told this thing to every single one I knew. On 5-5-2010 I got a mail from my SPM saying that 'Can you please hand over the team award memento to me'. I didn't know how to react to it, coz I was so low. I was never taking it home, I had planned to give it back to him on my last day at Infy. I wish this was just a dream and I wasn't awake. All of you might think that I am whinning for some small thing. But these

The Realization [A video in the making]

It all started on that evening; Yeshwanth came up with this idea for entering the video making competition its theme was 'Save Water'. Not even thinking once I said yes; I was really excited to act. The next time when we met at the coffee corner, me and Yeshwanth came up with a base story. Then Raghava, Shailesh and Manohar added their part in it. Now the story was nearly done. I was assigned the task of Scripting. Still remember the first discussion of the script. It was me, Yeshwanth and Raghava argued for some 2 hrs and most of it in vain. Finally the script was totally handed over to me. But I was only able to write it for two scenes and then Yeshwanth did the other one. Yeshwanth took the role of the cameraman. The second scene was shot first. The location was Subway, Infy, B'lore. It was me, Raghava, Manohar [The three most important characters in the story] with us was Shailesh, Tanvi and Soumya. This scene went well with many shots. It was time for editing, trus
